And to confirm the true value of bilingualism, RDS has a preview show for F1 ("et on roule"), airing tonight (Tuesday) at 7:00 EST according to the TVTimes.

....hey, what's "RDS" ?

....about Vic, sure he always interrupts Murray with some stupid observation that everyone can plainly see LIVE ( oh, look, a Ferrari....!!) just when Murray is getting into something interesting/useful, but it could be MUCH worse. I just wish we could get some of the ITV stuff as well.

....oops. yup, I think you're right there.

I just flipped through all my channels & couldn't find FDS or whatever it is, so it must be a french paystation? oh well.

Okay, here is some more utter bullshit from TSN - TSN will be broadcasting the 2000 Canadian Grand Prix Qualifying session (ready for this...) on a TAPE DELAYED basis.

That's right folks, coverage of qualifying will be broadcast beginning at 10:00 pm EST, June 17, 2000, some 5 or 6 hours after qualifying has ended.

Vic probably has a dog show or something less important at that time to do. Also, I cannot find any mention as to why the tape delay, nor if they will be covering free practice this year. (I've sent them a kind inquiry.) I'm not holding my breath.

Next thing you know TSN will make the following annnouncement:

"TSN is pleased to announce the signing of Brian Williams and Bobby Unser to co-host our coverage of the 2000 Canadian Formula One Grand Prix along with Vic Rauter. It is with regret we announce Gerry Donaldson has left the show for personal reasons, and John Watson has joined another network to co-host the race. We wish them the best.

Brian, Bobby, and Vic bring numerous years of motor racing experience with them to the broadcast booth and we expect our audience will be pleased."

Im guessing its being delayed for more brilliant coverage of the worlds most exciting sport Curling. Who needs the sound of high reving v10's when you can hear this..

"Sweeeeep...sweeep... SWEEEEEEEEPPP!!! HARDER!!! HARDER!!!!!.....Slow it down...slow...SWEEEEEEP!!! Ok good job..."
