It will be quite hard finding interior pictures, I believe. Forix.com as well as www.ferrari.it are good pictures, but not of the interior.

I've got a picture of the engine from the F2001 as my Windows wallpaper. The picture came from the Ferrari PR release photos from the unveiling of the F-2001.

I can't recall seeing such a photo for the F2000 and I can't check because I have not subscribed to AtlasF1.

Could you baddog? That issue sold out at the local newsstand before I had a chance to snag a copy.

thankyou dudes and dudettes
I am a bit ignorant Todd but is the 049 from the F2000 or the F2001 or do they look basically the same..
The instructions that came with the modelcar is unreliable to me.. I need to get the colour scheme more accurate:stoned:

Sorry me again..
This F2000 is the spec version from the Indy GP. I will be doing a scene accuratly built around the car from that GP event, unfortunatly the car does not came with M. Schumacher, he is an advertising entity on to himself...That is not really a problem, as I can get a same scale F1 race driver from another team/era and do the art work, even try to replicate the aero helmets..I love a challenge.
I already built (99%) a 1982 BrabhamBMW BT50 garage scene, all pit crew members accuratley uniformed, all tools, and even a Bernie E. lookalike (team owner of Brabham at that time). The centerpeice is the BrabhamBMW BT50 F1 race car with Nelson Piquet sitting in the cockpit talking to the pit manager...
I have to get my hands on a Digital camera for you guys to see it...

Loveyah:) :) :) :) :) :)

Darrenj,

Is it Tamiya's 1/20th Scale F1-2000?

You can get some nice decals for it from http://www.f1specialties.com

I've used their stuff before and it's very nice. Also, http://www.scalemotorsports.com has a nice detail and carbon fiber decal set for the Tamiya F1-2000.

Tamiya also has a driver/engineer set available in 1/20th scale. I believe you can find those at http://www.hlj.com I've got it at home, and I know it has helmet decals for Senna and Berger, but I don't think it has Shumy. If it does, it's of his old helmet anyway.

Every built any of Tameo's 1/43rd stuff? I've got the FW-16 from Brazil. Lot's of work, but they look nice when done.

If you like modeling, check out this guys site. Read some of his library stuff, it's incredible http://homepage1.nif...model/index.htm

bye...

Darrenj,

The 049 is the engine that Ferrari used in 2000. Today, it can be found in 2001 Prosts and Saubers. Ferrari is using the 90-degree 050 in the F2001. I think that the 049 was 80-degrees, but it may have already been a 90 degree engine. The wider the V, the lower the center of gravity that is possible.

Yeh, and the less room for the exhaust manifolds. Ferrari went through a short period where the exhausts were causing problems and we have seen the same from Renault with there new engine which has an even larger bank angle.
