He must be in demand after Saubers success with the C20.
Why did he leave Sauber? And where is he now?
What is his history in F1?

Bram

I heard a story that Peter Sauber didn't like the front wing of this year's car on the principle that "if it doesn't look right, itisn't right". Rinland took exception to this and they fell out. He either walked or got the push.

Sauber must be worried now that they have no top name designer to continue development of this year's car and also to develop for next year.
I am just wondering why there is no news on Sergio Rinland considering all the noise regarding Brunner & Newey.
How come no other team is interested in him...?

BRG, I actually prefer the white nose rather than the yellow from other seasons, maybe Peter Suaber doesn't have a good taste at all.

Jeezus! Losing an excellent designer over an aesthetic argument? If that's true, somebody is an idiot over there! There's got to be some deeper cause.
He's been a guest commentator on the PSN transmissions for a couple of races, I wonder if his "unemployment" will prevent or boost his appearances. Being an insider, he was pretty good at guessing reasons for DNFs and crashes. Hopefully he'll land a job on some other team, Minardi could certainly use him.
