grown since then - I'm still 1.91m.
Everyone looks taller on TV of course. Anyway, if you're over 1.7m and 50kg, forget it. So F1 is sizeist as well as sexist!

Unfortuanatly they ultimatly proved unsuccesfull in adapting their car to his stature and were therefore never signed him.
I think Jacques is something under 5' 5" ? maybe slightly shorter than Johnney Herbert.

I saw Fangio just that once, didn't matter that he was old, small, bald, grey or anything, he had car control...
The W196 was braking from 160mph and the tyres were chirping, but not locking.. he was 72 years old! What a sight...

They had to put people out to block the track to get him to come again, he was enjoying it so much. And so were we. This was a true genius, and I have no doubt he was the best driver of all time.

Perhaps the reason you didn't "squish" Mansell is the he is a 7th Dan Black belt.
I can't imagine Shuey storming down the pits to pick a fight with NM.
Of course they are short-arses. They have to be light. You don't see Sumo Wrestlers racing horses do you?
