Just heard the man on the radio (C. Tortorra CKAC) - couple of interesting comments. When asked about some remarks that Hakk made about JV and BAR-Honda being a potential "threat" he laughed and said that it's not possible at the moment to challenge the Macs but depending on the gap in Oz the promised Honda evolution may bring them within striking distance. JV said finishing the race is not an issue the reliability testing done was under extreme racing conditions and the car held up. If there is a failure it will be of the freakish extraordinary kind - that can afflict any team. His main hope is to score some points this weekend and if other teams have failed to correct their pre-season reliability issues maybe a podium by attrition. When asked if they have any surprises in store he answered no they haven't been holding back or sandbagging during testing. He was asked where he thought Ferrari would be situated in all this and he replied that he didn't know because he hasn't even seen the new F1-2000 in testing!! Albert Park is his favorite track and a good measure of how he will fare in 2000.
