For Canadians - I'm a little worried

Now the TSN site still lists qualifying on at midnight, but I've known the TSN site to often be inaccurate. I'd like to think that TSN should know what they will be showing better than anyone, but perhaps they haven't gotten around to updating their site yet. And then I have to wonder why tvgrid.com had the qualifying listed at midnight up until now and then suddenly they've changed it?
Does anyone know of a way to verify this?

Happy, do you get RDS? They never mess with F1, and it is never delayed. If they it's on at a certain time, rest assured it will be.

I just looked at the TSN web site and as you said, nothing has changed on it.
Then I went to ClickTV (from canoe) and they still have SportsDesk at 11, followed by "auto racing" at midnight and "F1 season preview" at 1am.
I wouldn't worry too much if I were you. Moreover, 11pm to 1:30am for Sportsdesk is getting a little long!

I am a little worried about RDS as well. Their website shows that their coverage of qualifying starts at 9:30 EST. This is 1:30PM local time in Melbourne and all the sites I follow show that qualifying actually starts at 1:00 local time. Are RDS falling into the TSN trap of "show it when it fits"?

Toronto Sports Network SUCKS!
Vive RDS!!!!!!!!
I Think I`ll skip Curling and watch QUALIFYING LIVE!!!!!
If it`s as good as I hope, i`ll watch it AGAIN!!!!
PS: How the hell are you going to handle not following the results live on the Net? How many plan on doing this?

OK, I've calmed down a bit now. The site that said SportsDesk was on from 11:00 pm to 1:30am still says that (the graphic indicates that), but when you click on the description of SportsDesk it says 11:00pm - 12:00am. So they've obviously got something screwed up. Sorry if I got anyone in a panic.

I'm way ahead of you there mtl'78. I'm taking my girlfriend out to dinner and a movie, so I won't be home and have the temptation to check the web. And then since I've been out with her all evening she won't mind me staying up until 2:00am watching the qualifying and season preview. I'm so smart!;)

Vic ´curling´ Reuter is not what you´d call an expert in Motor racing, but for a pre-game show it´s good enough, then you get to listen to the always funny Murray Walker. If not the the ´oh-la-la´ guys at RDS also do a good job (albeit extremely JV biased).
You should be thanful you have at least that, as I heard that in the US F1 coverage stinks...

I have nothing against curling. I know it is a very difficult sport to master. I even know some guys who were the canadian and world junior champs a few years ago.
However, The Briar cup is very very annoying!!! It is on all the time!!! All day!!! What the hell is up with that?!?!

The tough thing is not to resist following the results live on the web ... It is to not watch the (sports) news on SRC, RDI, TVA, the Score and TSN at 11pm.
TSN won't talk about the results during SportsDesk, but I'm sure they'll be showing the results in the ticker at the bottom of the screen!
At least on TSN, we don't have to listen to Tortora saying "Quel controle!" when Jacques finally gets his car to go straight after he actually lost control of his car and spun a few times! I like it when anouncers are a little biased towards a driver (like Pierre and Bert), but when his bias prevents him from making any objective comment, it's too much! But still, I'd much rather see everything live, especially when the reason for the delay is curling ...

From what I've heard, it's actually a lot more fun to play than to watch because of the level of strategy involved.
