I have GT2 and also bleem, but it doesn't work with bleem. :(

Does anyone have it working on the PC, and if you have, how do you do it?

Thanks ;)

the bleem people have a list of "compatible" games on their web site.

if i remember right last time i checked, GT1 was OK but GT2 wasn't.

Anyway GrandTourismo is a GREAT game itself, nevermind the Parts II and III
I have bleem, but my PC really sucks (Celeron overclocked to 374Mhz,64mb RAM, 16mb Banshee PCI :( )
I wonder if GT1 will work fast enough
Tekken III was a little slow with full graphics.

Well Ive only tried 3 games on bleem, GT, GT2 and Tekken 3. GT2 didn't work as i said, and there was big problems with the tekken, it kept crashing. But GT worked fine, the graphics were a bit shitty, but they could have been like that on the playstation, i dont know. GT was a good game, just a bit small, and boring once you completed it.

If you've checked the bleem! web site recently you'll see that they are soon going to release the beta version of bleem! which will play GT2. Can't wait.

I use ePSXe, it works with GT2. It's free aswell except for the fact that you need a PSX BIOS ROM file (copyrighted ofcourse but can be found on the net like everything else ;)). Check www.emulator-zone.com

I have ePSXe aswell (and a real PS1) but I found ePSXe a little tricky to configure but worst of all it doesn't support analog PC joysticks/steering wheels. bleem! does which is why I can't wait for them to release the version that will play GT2.

The main reason I got into PSX emulators was so I could play GT2 on a PC with my steering wheel and pedals because even with the analog PSX controller I find the controls almost unusable. I guess I could have bought a PSX steering wheel/pedals but that really would have been a waste of money :)

FYI bleem! has just released beta versions 1.6a and 1.6b. v1.6a does play GT2. I just tried it and it is pretty fantastic.

Used my PC steering wheel and pedals as proper analog controls and the difference from using the PSX analog controller is huge - it's just so much easier.

The graphics (as always with bleem!) are pretty fantastic aswell.

Well since GT3 is a PS2 game and the PS2 is totally different to the PS1 it's impossible unless they write a PS2 emulator which I don't think is going to happen in a hurry.

I bought bleem! ages (about 2 years) ago and the way it works is: You buy it from them and they send you a 'Key CD' which has some weird encrypted tracks on it and then you download the bleem! software from their site. The full versions (including the new versions 1.6a and 1.6b) only work if you have the 'Key CD' in the drive - it's kind of like a dongle system.

To download the new versions you have to go to this page:
http://www.bleem.com...dlupdates2.html and register and then you can download it but it will only work with a 'Key CD' and you can't copy those CDs.

To buy a Key CD go here: http://www.bleem.com...s/buynowpc.html

There are 'cracked' versions around that don't need the key CD (don't know about the 1.6a which plays GT2 though) but it only costs US$ 30 and they've put a lot of work into it and spent over a million dollars fighting Sony in stupid legal battles so I think you should support them and buy a proper version.

well I now have ePSXe, gonna try and get it working, looks complicated to setup, better to try alot of stuff and if it works thats great. :)

If i ever get the new version of bleem then I will 'buy' it. I normally never pay for computer stuff as normally it is taking the money from the poor and giving it back to line bill gates's or Mr sony's pockets with even more money. But reading what you said about the court case, and knowing about bleem already, and after finding out how easy it is to buy, and get updates, then I would have no problem with buying it.

It won't work on ePSXe, probably setting it up wrong, but exactly the same thing happens as it does on bleem. I also tried it on an earlier version of bleem, which is a demo, and it gets further than the title screen, but doesnt work properly, and as there is no sound, or memory cards on the demo version anyway.

Could anyone help me? :)

Check out http://www.psxemu.com/ for a lot of info and boards about PSX emulators. The guys there might be able to help you get ePSXe configured right but I remember it was a real pain. Also with ePSXe you won't be able to use analog controls.

The demo version of bleem! is a cut down version of 1.4 which does play GT2 but very badly. In the non-demo v1.4 you get no car textures and other problems.

v1.6a plays it beautifully though - an it lets me use my PC steering wheel and pedals!

bleem should be OK on your machine - other emus like ePSXe are a bit more power hungry!
