More realistically though, whats the best wheel for the regular joe consumer? If im going to play GPL, i want to really play it well, my old Thrustmaster GP wheel is falling apart

I got a M$ SideWinder FF instead... it's OK, but I can't use the FF with GPL as it kills the fps

But anyway, FF isn't all it's cracked up to be, you probably don't need it anyway

Yeah, I'd heard about that. So I think that one is called Logitech Wingman Formula Force, without the GP... That's what confused me

(force feedback not available with TSW's)
I personally own a Logitech Wingman Formula Force wheel (red wheel)...the original...and still the best IMO for the price. Stay away from the newer Logitech models.

they have a very good wheel with force feedback. I've got it, and it's got a good feel.
cost me a bit though, cos i had to ship it overseas. i think by now it should be available in stores.

it has a lovely feel and seems very well built and 'heavy' though the pedals are the weakest area. using the gearstick (albeit linear) in gpl is cool, paddles never seem right.
what I love most about force feedback is feeling the wheel go light over a crest..

I have a crappy saitek r100 that does the job okish, but only cost me 20 bucks in a sale, and is a good wheel for the price I paid for it, but it wouldn't work on GP2 and as yet I havent tried it on GP3

I recently purchased a Thrustmaster NASCAR Pro Digital 2 but have had severe quality problems with it.
Here's the exact problem I've had Ross: http://www.atlasf1.c...&threadid=25526
And here's a good link about "Best Wheels" from this BB: http://www.atlasf1.c...&threadid=17322
