this has so many movies! And there's still heaps to come. Check everything out there. It's so cool, especially the 'through the drivers eyes' section under favourties.
Go there and enjoy!

Thanks G-R .. you're right -- it is great. Have you downloaded the Schuey lap in Mtl last year. I think I've seen it 20 times already. Have not had time for the rest of the stuff (time for a cable modem!!!)

Thanks a lot for the tip !
Just watched Senna make a very fast lap in Monaco. The best thing was the facial expression of Prost when he saw the time Senna made. Great stuff !

Oh my god, I feel sick. I just watched the 1967 Monaco crash. Horrid.

Great movie of Senna at Monaco. I'd love to see a modern day version and compare the two. I wonder what the differences would be, if any. I imagine the 99 grooved cars would be moving around a lot more.

Did you see von Trips' Monza 1961 crash?
Horrible, to say the least. :(
The Ferrari looks like it struck the cameraman, too.

The site is fast too (getting 60kbs on cable). I downloaded everything. It was a lot like
http://members.xoom....ula1/index.html

and even has some of the same vids. But also had a lot of stuff I didn't have.

Ugh! 27 minutes until the first free practice of 2000!

Great site G-R. I downloaded the Von Trips/Clark crash of 1961. Fearsome with the cars flinging themselves into the crowd (14 killed) and back onto the track with a drivers body on the track. A horrifying view from a trackside film camera that shows Von Trips Ferrari about to hit the filmer.

No protection at all for these hundreds of fans.

KOOOL!

I must say that those drivers in sixties have been missing some brain cells.. The cars are just about the same as if you would fly a small Cessna with a jet engine - without a parachute!

Great site! I can't stand to watch crashes, makes my skin crawl and brings back too many bad memories, but the Senna on-board lap at Monaco 1988 is awesome (comment above is absolutely right, the look on Prost's face is great, as is the look on Ron Dennis's face) and the archive seems huge. Thanks for the link!

Hrm, it does seem to be down. Prolly shut him down from all the traffic. I downloaded everything from the site. I might be persuaded to put it on ftp from my home (cable modem) if anyone is really interested.

I assume this site doesn't work anymore? There is some German text page but I couldn't get to anything that resembled F1 movies.
Hope they bring it back as I've always wanted that Senna lap of Monaco!
Any help out there?

Man, why is this site down. I am reading about all these classic clips and cant check 'em out! :)

By the way, does anyone know the best program to use if i want to edit Mpegs, and other video clips. What i would like to do is cut and paste some together, adding bits of footage from a few different clips and then adding my own sound track to it. Does anyone know if this is possible?

I use Adobe Premiere but it's a little pricey.

You need a video capture card, or digitiser card, and Adobe Premiere 5.0 should set you on the right track.

I've actually received a CD with a few 'illegal' programs, and one was Adobe Premiere. Haven't been able to use it yet, because I haven't got a Video Capture Card, but when I do, I want to finish off my site, CART Movies Online, (http://surf.to/cartmovies), and then start a sister site, F1 Movies Online.

regards,
doohanOK.

Great site?! This is the THIEF SITE - almost all videos (without any reference or link or something like this) were stolen from here:
http://www.f-1.ru/video/index_e.html

Best recommendations - a really great place for Formula 1 fan!
