Button's height

I realize that he's one of the tallest current drivers in the lineup, at 1.82 m., but from my view, it seemed that his head was so much higher out of the cockpit that it might even be considered unsafe.
I found this picture where you can compare Fisichella and Button in the cockpit. It's not the best, but I think you can see a noticeable difference.

I'm wondering if this simply comes down to the relative height of his upper body / torso. You'd think they could lower the seat a tad to make up for it.
In this particular picture, it looks as if Fisichella is also higher than the average driver, so maybe it's just the Benneton setup that causes this. You'd think for aero reasons they'd want Button deeper in the cockpit? Maybe?

No one sits as low in the car as F. Alonso though. I have no idea how he can see over the steering wheel.

There was a profile of Justin Wilson in the August issue of Formula 1 magazine. It said he was 6'3". Wilson's comments about height:Originally posted by StickShift
How tall is Justin Wilson? I heard his height might be a problem with the Formula 1 cars and the airflow.
"A lot of people tend to disregard you before you get close to the car. Getting past that stage is the hardest part. I've driven many different types of cars and my height has not been a problem. The biggest thing is the seat fitting, but once I'm comfy it's not a problem. I don't see that I've got a disadvantage compared to short people. Obviously being taller I weigh a bit more and the weight limit is quite low in F3000, but that affects many of the shorter drivers who weigh similar amounts."
