I have talked about this track before, and have found a very interesting site for anyone interested, The photo's are recent, and if you click on them, the view will be larger. The "text" to say the least is very interesting...

Does anyone out there have the entry list for the first major races, 1923 > 1924?
I also welcome any other information (photo's etc.) on this facility.

Can anyone tell me why the track was called "Sitges-Terramar"? "Terramar" might stand for the location but what is "Sitges" standing for? I know remotely a spanish family from the north of Spain called "Sitges". Could there be a connection?

Sitges is in fact the name of the town where the track is located.

Actually, the "Sitges" town is on one side of the track, and the other side, is "Terramar". Sitges was known as the White Roman Suburb, a old fishing village situated south of Barcelona. The track is about 2 km from the beach. The sea and beach can be seen from the track as well.

OK, so obviously no connection to the family bearing the same name here... I just thought it strange because it's not such a common name in Spain AFAIK.
