Hi,

I'm sure this question has been asked before... Please don't get upset...

Does anyone know any websites from which it's possible to download entire races?

The old Russian F1 site used to upload full races. You can try the new site at videof1.gp.ru to check if they still do.

Also, try http://www.geocities.../main_frame.htm

He uploads a few races like Donnington 1993 and Adelaide '94.

Indian Chief,

Did you save Melbourne 2001? Looks like the website is down. :(

I don't download races, it would take me weeks with my slow dialup connection.:D You can try downloading when (if) the site comes online again.

No luck there - no available files at all. I'll check back later, though.

Anyone else who might suggest sites?

Come on! It's the off-season! And I feel the need to delve into F1 history!:)

Luke, it's much easier to tape all the races during the season than try to find sites to download them form in the off season. VHS tapes are also much better quality too. Of course i know it's a bit too late for that now, so keep it in mind for next year. :)

As for websites, well, IC's already mentioned about the only known sites that do or have in the past carried full races to download. If you've got a friend or something who can loan you some tapes for the off season, then i suggest get a hold of him/her!

Sure, you can always tape races from the current season. I'm not really looking for 2001 races, though. I have quite a few races on tape from 1996 and onwards. I was more thinking of races from years gone by... Races from the 70s, 80s and early 90s.

Download times and file size don't really matter to me, since I'm connected to a LAN.

Maybe I was too optimistic about the chances of finding F1 races on the net... It's just that usually I'm able to find what I'm looking for!
