Kind of like http://www.americanl.../8lvms/p035.jpg
but more "styled"
Ive seen pictures of at speed shots, and parc ferme when the wheel is upside down resting on the nose, but im looking for a really nice up close shot to see the shape of the wheel and how it comes together. Thanks

I'd like to see any good shots of steering wheels from this year or last. Anyone?

I've been looking for one without the bottom 'loop' as a believe that this is Coulthards car, but have not found anything yet.
I will keep you posted.

The first two pics came from www.f1m.com
It is a site dedicated to Formula 1 model building. He has a good refrencr library of nitty gritty under the skin pics, but these were the only two that I found of the Mac steering wheel.
Here are a couple of the '99 car but not as explicit:

These are from my own references. I think that it is safe to assume that the construction is the same as '97 but without the lower 'loop'.
In contrast here is the '98 Ferrari wheel. Very different designs...

As you can see, Coulthards car retains the lower loop. I still cannot find a good one of the 'butterfly' shape.

I must look.....I must......
Anyway, the buttons are actually labeled in Italian ('radio' of course spelt the same way in Italian and English but pronounced differently).
I remember one knob was for fuel mixture (rich to lean) but my memory fades on the rest.
