You are welcome to stick with your team Scuderia Ferrari but be aware that the full season budget penalty for this team will be 70884 points. Given that there are only 13175 points on offer the best you can hope for will be negative57709 points. I somehow do not think this would be a winning score.

However you may have some other objective ;) , in that case - Good Luck


To everyone else.

Please do not under estimate the effect of the penalty. I recalculated the winning score last year based on the 775 point per race maximum and it came out at something like 9800 points or so. For each $1mil over budget you will be penalised 2148 points at least. This will increase if Hockenheim is shortened and therefore the number of laps increases. This means that if you are $2mil over budget your best possible score wll be 8879, 1000 points behind last years winning score.

If you are going to change your team please do so by PM. With the large number of entries it will be difficult for me to find any edits. Please advise the team name you are changing and which components you are changing.

By the way, thanks for the response. This is way beyond my wildest expectations. I had thought that 50 teams was an ambitious target. We are up to something like 155 teams and there is still 10 days to go before entries close. I still haven't put my team in yet.
