i have re-worked livio panzetti's 2001 different sounds patch with
1. updated 2002 drivers names
2. seperate ferrari and sauber folders {using same sounds for now}
3. toyota created from renamed prost folders/files
4. seperate barhonda and jordanhonda folders {using same sounds for now}
5. provided info on how to manually edit the items into F12001, without using .bat installer
6. this uses livio's sounds ONLY !!
[i know that some people might be working on 2002 engine sound variations, and the work i did will make it easy for anyone to "plug in" better sounds .. i'll gladly update my version, if better sounds come along !!]
feel free to re-work / publish this as you like
permission granted !
posted on downloads page @ my site

should be enabled there soon:)

57 car-liveries, including every single livery we have seen at first four races
14 cockpit-liveries
88 pitcrew and jackmen-graphics
4 different helmet-files
5 different performance files with driver- and team-names
(4 track and real-life related, 1 default)
2 tyre types [Bridgestone and Michelin-tyre graphics]
Requirments:
• a full GP3 Season 2000 Installation
• about 11 MB free diskspace in your GP3 Season 2000-directory.
• installation of GPxPatch v2.21+ (to run the carset)
What it does:
What it does not:
Together with GPxPatch 2.21 this set provides single carsets performance-data and driver/team-name data for each track with only one installation. That means you don't have to install a new carset when you want to enter a "non-tobacco"-track. You just select the track you want to drive on and GPxPatch loads the right cars and data for this track automatically. The performance data should be very close to the real season 2002 qualifying and race-results so you can play your part in the current Formula 1 season.
It DOES support common championship seasons with GP3's championship mode. For the limitations in using championship-season-mode please refer to the FAQs.
It supports "Advanced Performance", that means that it comes with a special physicsfile (rh2002.g3p) and with a special CC-Setup-file (rh2002.gcc). This makes it possible to reach
season 2002 top-speeds, laptimes, BHP and rpm for a more realistic playing.

On a side note, the carsets are so bloody hard to install with GP4 Master. And now I can't even get the latest version of GP4 Master to work.

F12002 site
Those sites are very good.
EMACF1 has updates for GPLE, GP3, GP4, EA F1 2001 and EA F1 2002 from 1996 to 2002 season.
I play F1 2002 and RH's 2002 season update is the must-have-thing.
Hope you guys find them useful.

DUEL TRACK:!!!!
A world first for GPL! Two parallell tracks for WRC type duels! Very fast sweepers and really crazy jumps! When you see the yellow blinking lights get ready to cross over to the opposite track!
Download link:
http://madcowieracing.m4driving.sm/
Also scoll down for ROLLERCOATER: Mad, he's MAD!!! Check out the screenshots to know what I mean! This track was like the title, a rollercoaster, amazing with GPL cars , try it out!
John Pickett, everyone download it, amazing track, get ready to cross over to the opposite track in THE DUEL TRACK!!!!
I'm downloading it right now, would make a great duel on online winvroc!

As I understand it (and I'm no expert) GP4 is extremely difficult to edit (unlike F12002) - this probably explains the proliferation of F12002 mods (GTR02, Turbo Mod, M3 Mod and the Alfa 147 Mod) and the complete lack of anything for GP4.
Which is a shame, because the graphics engine for GP4 is superb (if you have a decent PC), especially the photorealistic replays whereas F12002 is ropey by comparison, especially the awful replays.

I've downloaded the new carsets from the GPLEA website (fantastic) but wouldnt mind something a little more contemporary with the fantastic physics engine.

Been racing F1 sims on PSOne and PS2 for ever now but I've been longing to try something I've actually never seen.
Heard and read so many time about F1 MANAGER sim games(seemed you managed all aspects of owning your own team). I've heard about many done for the PC and if I recall correctly, I think I even saw one for the Playstation, but it was for the PAL market of Europe.
Seems like it doesn't exit here in North America! Or am I looking at the wrong place?(No, I don't ask for it at a Pet Store ar at a Donut Shop!

Do they actually exist???
Can anyone help?

Thanks!

There are some great season 2003 cars for GP4 too. Those made by Viper (all except Jaguar, Minardi and Jordan) are easy to install too

Most others need some skills with GP4master -tool ....

Select either "Games" or "Mods" from the top menu-bar, then the game in question, and finally "Downloads" from the second menu-bar.
Enjoy!
