Hi All.
I recently picked up a Logitech Formula Wheel (You know, the cheap 'yellow' one).
This is just an interm wheel untill I can find the ultimate force feedback system.

Logitech's High End version (the Momo one) looks good, and so dosn't the ThrustMaster ferrari liscenced wheel.

Any opinions on these and any other FF wheels?

Thanks in advance.

Hi mono-posto, for my opinion, check this out.

I'm loving the driving force, my times have seriously come down!!!
Good luck.

I love my Logitech Momo but it is big bucks! Not sure about any of the lower end models. I did have an old Thrustmaster 1 with no FF and the Momo is light years ahead of that.

I've got an M$ FF wheel... I just can't get used to it. I always drive with the FF off. : I feel it slows me down, I can't react as fast because the wheel is pulling the other way. Dunno, maybe it's just crap FF :|

I've got Momo, for last two months. I use it with GPL, GP3-200 and CMR2. Very cool in general. Wheel is great. On beginning I complained about short travel on brake pedal, but after some time I get used to it.

Recommended.

With any pedal set, replacing the brake pedal spring with a squash ball is a must. It gives the pedal a progressively firmer feel, just like a real brake pedal. On the Logitech Momo, this modification is just too easy, almost like it was made for it! Just tape the ball in place in the round indent the spring used to sit in and reassemble. When calibrating the brake, press on the brake with all your might and when you go to drive again, locking the brakes is a lot harder to do. The difference is lap times will surprise you.

Bjorn, try to turn down the forces a bit, might help.. In the beginning I had mine too strong on the MOMO, and could hardly control the car!
