Edit: That's 24 laps for Yoong to complete, to be perfectly clear.

My guess for Malaysia: 0 laps. He'll be outside 107%
And a question to the FIA: If Yoong is outside 107% and FIA delegates allow him to compete, for me he is lapped in lap 0. What does the official rules say about this?

I go by the FIA lap chart to determine how many laps he completed. 'Nuff said.

I say he'll have 16 laps completed.

After taking into account the obligatory first corner pileup and the fact that all racing organizations are barred from enforcing the rulebook the same way twice (see NASCAR) I am guessing that they will actually abort the start this time.
Therefore, I'm guessing that he will get lapped on lap 20.
BTW, Toyoter,
What happens if Yoong scores points this race? Do we all look like idiots? Will the earth spin off its axis? Or is there an FIA regulation against this?

But the longer the lap the more distance is gained per lap and the further behind (timewise) Yoong is per lap.
It's actually the shorter tracks that will take more laps to lap him in cuz he'll be clocking them up quickly

Australia: 5.303 Km
In australia it took them 22- 8= 14 laps (as the safety car let the red baron go after 8 laps)
well, malaysia being about 240 meters longer, so an extra 200 a lap = 14 * 240 = 3.36 KM. well so that's an additional lap
ehm make that 15 laps for me ok?

And he will be lapped 3 times.
Webber will only be lapped once (I hope

No problemo. There are quite a few people who didn't join last week that have already joined this week. I'm giving you (and them) a 58 as their score in week one (58 is the total # of laps in Australia), which puts you a bit behind in the season totals already, but you can still get your name at the top of the weekly results list, which means you will be treated like a superstar legend by everyone else on the boards for the two weeks following the race.

Of course it's going to be a season-long comp! I even made a spreadsheet for it with everyone's stats

BUT...
What am I supposed to guess if I think he will not get lapped as he'll spin out, crash or break down? This is because I actually expect this to happen before he's lapped - he'll try to do well for his home crowd and stick it in the wall / tyre barrier.
