I've got the same bore/stroke figures for the 1989 RA109E; power is 640-670 HP/12800 rpm. My sources are the complete history of motor racing, sport auto 1989, rally racing 1990, l'annee automobile 37. The HP figure is, as always, a guess between various contradicting sources.

I've got the same type number (109E) in 1990, like Milan I don't know bore or stroke. Sport Auto and/or motorsport aktuell state the following HP figures:
version 1: 665 HP
version 2: 675 HP
version 4 : 690 HP
version 6 : 720 HP/13500
for what it's worth.
The 1991 Mugen version (Tyrrell) is quoted at 700 HP/13500.

That's all I've got.

I find it absolutely incredible that they've reduced the weight of the F1 V10s by almost a third...

How have they done this?

The Honda V10s were never any real lightweights.

I recall the initial Renault V10 from 1989 were something like 132kg.

First they reduced the cylinder volume by 15%, then they used 15% lighter materials. ;)
