Feel free and vote on the best looking Ferrari from 1990-2002, I've left out the F 310 because of the 12 option limit, but I doubt anyone would vote on that piece of junk anyway! :drunk:

My vote goes to this years F2002 (un-original I know), but the F1-2000 comes a close second.

My top 10:

1. F2002
2. F1-2000
3. 412 T2
4. F 399
5. F 92 A / F 92 AT
6. F 93 A
7. F2001
8. F1-91 643 / 642
9. F 310 B
10. F1-90 641

No contest.

1994 412 T1. A dogish car, but we're talking purely "looks" here. Gold rims and the teardrop radiator intakes plus a V-12 engine and real rossa corsa paint do it for me.

Isn't that a photo of the (ugly) highnose version?

Nope, that's the 1994 car that Berger and Alesi drove.

I loved the F-2000. the car was pure class, and it was the first WDC car in 21 years! so It's a bit historical too.

Wow I must be getting old. I still dislike the high nose cars. And IMO nothing comes close to the 90/91 Ferrari's with the exception of the 95

Bring back the low nose, slicks and sparks

JDeRosa

I agree - the 87/88 cars we great as well

i think that the 1995 car was the best looking.Words cannot decribe how much i despise the new breed of f1 cars with narrow-track, high noses and grooved tires! The 1997 car was ok aswell.

I can't believe the F2002 and F2000 cars are getting more votes than the F92a and 412 T1's. When on earth did all you kids start watching F1? :)

I confused it with the 95 model [which IIRC was later tried with a high nose]

No, the 412 t2 was never tried with a high nose, the F 310 in '96 had a low nose originally but they changed to a high nose at the Canadian GP.

Wrong again MrA!;) The 96 model was tried with a higher nose at the Canadian GP by MS. Up until then, both cars had low noses. If you find pics of the 96 Canadian GP, you'll see Irvine with a low nose, and MS with a High nose.

Point of order, surely the 2000 car doesn't deserve more credit than the 99 simply cos it didn't bring the WDC what is really important is the WCC as won in 99. Mind you my ferrari well it is still the 86 and the 87 WOW WOW

Mebbe I'm getting the years mixed up, but I can't believe I'm the only one to vote for the '90. That is still the most beautiful Ferrari ever.

  A frontal shot would make the car's beauty even more justice.

Sounded like a bloody wild animal too, 850 HP in that 3.5 V12! For some reason the 3.0 V12 of 95 had a less attractive metallic sound to it.

The f2000 and F2002 have some nice curves, but I would rather label them as beautiful F1 cars rather than beautiful ferraris, if that makes any sense.

I voted the 95, closely followed by the 90. The high nose Feraris look carp and anything with the huge Marlboro logos on them aren't a true Ferrari. And tell me you're talking about the design aspect, because if a car isn't Maranello red then it aint a true Ferrari

I have a Minichamps 1/18 Scale of the 1994 412-T1.
It's an awesome looking car.
It was a hard pick b/w the F93 A and the 412-T1, but those radiator intakes are just the best.

Agreed, Mot.

The '96 car was absolutely beautiful. Of course, that's down to Barnard's mis-interpretation of the new rules, but I truly think this was the most aesthetically pleasing F1 car Ferrari ever produced.

Thank You Scuddetto for confirming what I always thought. FERRARI CARS WERE REDDER! Back when it wasn't fashionable to pull for Ferrari(well, because they sucked performance wise),I LOOOOOOOOOOVED the Ferrari Red.

Ferrari,PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE,I beg you ,go back to your roots. Give us the Ferrari Red again. And Malboro SHUT UP! A billion people will see your name on the car,be happy with that.

Thank you for these threads going back down memory lane. Put my vote down for the 94 car!
Amazing, are the dimensional specs for the 94 and today's F2002 similar?

I agree with what's been said about the colour of the Ferraris. The darker shade of red is much more beutiful!

When looking at the shape of the different cars I think F2002 is really special. It just looks *right* in a way that's hard to explane. I think The 94 car is beautiful but somehow to bulky. The 2000 car is beautiful but I'm not that fond of the high nose. The 2002 car has a nose that is inbetween high and low and it's so slender and just looks really fast. I could live without the white bargeboards though and I would prefere the classical red colour.

All in all, my vote goes to F2002.

OK, the 641 was a shed. But what an attractive shed. This is what F1 cars will always look like, in my head.

The F2002 would be my second choice, as the plan view is so pleasing, and there's a leanness to it that I like.

My favourite is the 1996 Ferrari with the low nose even though in general people do not like the way it looks like.

I'm sure there was one Ferrari they ruined with a highnose., but I must be mistaken. The word 'ruin' rules out the '96, which was impossible to ruin any more than it was!

I have to say the Ferrari F1-87 and F1-87/88C are the most beautiful F1 cars ever made. Smooth sleek lines, few adverts, low profile. I also like the 1982, 1983 and 1985 Ferrari's.

Well, I did you a favour not putting the F 310 among the options, I heard a from a anymonous source voting on that car would result in an imidiete ban! :drunk: :smoking:

This will take place after the DTM race i think....Anyways, here's the full story.

And besides....i posted a thread on the subject, but not many ppl replied or probably even saw it. Im gonna bump it up for ya.

The sound alone is worth the trip.
