Why don't you do a search first. There's a bunch of threads on the subject. These for example. Not very structured, but it's all in there somewhere.

Why do you say such a thing? If anything, the people at TNF are most completely the opposite.

Er no, in TNF, we know the morbid stuff, but as prettyface says, we don't like it.

And it's comments like that which keep me and many others away from RC most of the time.

Well, a bit of both, actually. I guess I was referring to the "speeds ultimate price" thread at TNF. Currently there aren't any other 'morbid' threads up. But a few months ago, it was full of them (meaning 3 or 4).

Race fatalities, or death as a result of injuries sustained during a Grand Prix:

Bandini, Lorenzo - 1967 Monaco GP
Bristow, Chris - 1960 Belgium GP, SpaFrancorchamps
Collins, Peter - 1958 German GP, Nurburgring
Courage, Piers - 1970 Dutch GP, Zandvoort
Koinigg, Helmuth - 1974 US GP, Watkins Glen
Lewis-Evans, Stuart - 1958 Morocco GP, Casablanca
Musso, Luigi - 1958 French GP, Reims
Paletti, Riccardo - 1982 Canada GP, Montreal
Peterson, Ronnie - 1978 Italian GP, Monza
Pryce, Tom - 1977 South Africa GP, Kyalami
Schlesser, Jo - 1968 French GP, Rouen
Senna, Ayrton - 1994 SanMarino GP, Imola
Stacey, Alan - 1960 Belgium GP, SpaFrancorchamps
Taylor, John - 1966 German GP, Nurburgring
von Trips, Wolfgang - 1961 Italian GP, Monza
Williamson, Roger - 1973 Dutch GP, Zandvoort

Fatalities such as Gilles Villeneuve and Jochen Rindt were during practice/qualifying
and not the race itself.

I consider practice and qualifying part of the race weekend.

The original question said "during an F1 race" I have a list of 26 drivers who competed in F1 1954-60,but had died by the end of 1960.
