I know I read something about him recently - well, in the last 10 years. But I seem to have a RAM problem at the moment

Ecurie Prideaux (Maybe wrong spelling but the same as the cricketer's name - that's how I remember it?).
This was probably before the Chamco-Collect era though?

Vic Wilson. Only ran one Grand Prix: 1960 Italian GP, with Cooper-Climax F2 (ab)
I've get a short info... bur as my english is very bad... Here you have the info in French:

I believe he now lives in Boca Raton, Florida. I have no idea what he's been up to since his racing days, although he has a few connections with South Africa. Is that a help?

While this info does not relate to the Chamco-Collect afterperiod it is a co-incidence.
An extract from a report on the Mashonaland 100 at Rhodesia's Belvedere Circuit 30 May 1955
"The sportscars also went well and Peter Wood and V Wilson drove their XKi20 Jaguars with skill."
In the All comers handicap for cars at Marlborough Rhodesia on 20 May 1956 V A Wilson was 3rd in a MG TC.

So it would seem that the Boca Raton resident was him.
My source of information is a reliable one and read of Vic's passing in the BRDC newsletter.

Regarding Vic Wilson, I have him finishing 4th o/a at the 1965 Angola GP.
He drove Team Chamaco Collect's Ferrari 250 LM # 5907 GT.
Don't rush the Vol. 2 BRM book please. The longer it takes, the better it will be.

Just found Vic Wison again in my humble files:
Senior Service RAC Tourist Trophy, Oulton Park, May 1st 1965:
He drove Bernard White's Team Chamaco Collect Lotus 30 # 30/L/18 and did not finish in heath 2 due to clutch trouble.
Car was race #7 and he was 19th on the starting grid.
