Actually I do hope this isn't a whole ruse to bring up a joke about fitting a square head into a round hole.

I could live without the silly wing on the engine cover, notice it has the same Marlboro add as it's bigger brother at the back

I'd like to see the cars returned to a wider track too. It's something you don't notice much, then you see a picture from the early 90's and the first thing you notice is how wide it is. Of course, a wider car means more wing and more downforce which everyone seems to think is bad.

It also means more drag, so there may not be that huge a change in speed.

iirc, it was something to the effect that David's helmet or helmets were soaked with water and Michael either agreed to loan him one or he offered a helmet to DC.

In that GP, only after the warmup it rained, and then they had 15 minutes 1 hour before the race to run in the wet. As the weekend only had dry conditios until that moment, only in the last minute Coulthard found the problem that masterhit described. I think that this kind of thing never happened before or after that race. At least I never heard about anything like that in other race.

Your not the only one that prefers the older wider cars.I hate the way the modern groove tired, narrow track cars look.Bring back the old cars with slicks!.

That's one of the more ugly McLarens IMO. However the 1993 McLaren, was a really beautiful car

Sadly I can't find it, but in the post-race press conference Coulthard was asked about why he's wearing Schumacher's helmet. He replied that he had a problem with his own helmet, and since he and Michael used the same type of helmet and since the two were neighbours (Schumacher lived in Monaco back then), he simply popped to Michael's apartment and took one on a loan.
Don't make it sound like a PR thing. Astonishingly enough, DC and MS were actually friends back then

Q: We saw you driving with a Michael Schumacher replica helmet can you explain that?
DC: Yeah, I thought that might cause some confusion, but I had a terrible problem in the warm up with my helmet. The visor was completely steamed up and I couldn't see after one lap and I didn't feel confident I could fix the problem, so I asked if I could borrow one of Michael's helmets and he had no problem to lend me one and we just covered his personal sponsors over and off I went.
Additionally, in the questions off the floor later he was asked again why he asked Michael and he explained that they both use the same helmet, and because he lives in the same complex as Michael it was easy popping over to his apartment and grabbing one.

As far as I'm aware DC and MS are still friends today. The Spa 98 spat was over pretty quick.

Ricardo, they are on amicable terms now. They are most certainly not friends.

Well, let's see.
Bira, do you have a picture of Michael Schumacher testing with a Ligier in the pre-season of 1995?
It's another one that I am looking for.

Schumacher tested 94's Ligier to get used with the Renault engine, used by Benetton in 1995.

A brazilian television did last year an special report about Schumacher in Ferrari and showed Michael testing the 95 Ferrari, but I never saw a picture of that.

Well I don't think Schumacher allows any 'friends' in the literal sense within the F1 circles (probably why Jos isn't driving any more!) - sorta links to the whole Johnny Herbert / Schumacher fallout thread from a while back. But from what DC told me in Tokyo they actually get on pretty well, primarily being the two senior members of the drivers safety thang.

Its an age old ritual in tribalistic cultures. When you touch another ones clothing etc., his power will pass over to you.
