Some of you may have seen these cool little replicas crafted by the CycleKart Company in April's edition of R & T. But in case you hadn't, here is a link to their site .
I thought that something like this would very cool for the young racer at home. A great parent and sibling joint effort... as they are either home built or purchased ready made... I'd also think that these would be quite collectible - eventually...
Pictured from front to rear, (I think) is a Bugatti Type 59, Mini-Magnette, Delage and an Alfa P3
Somthing old for the young and the young at heart!

dretceterini,
Ooops... sorry, It's in there now!
I think that the cost for the replicas in kit form is around $1,500 USD. I don't know how much you value your time, so that figure is up to you!
In finished form, they might run $3,500+ but again, I'm not certain...

OK, I need one of these. I have a cunning plan. 1) I am a certified senior citizen. 2) I own a walking stick. I think that, for a consideration, my doctor will attest that I need some sort of invalid carriage (what's the politically correct term for that?). This will be the answer to my friend Chris from up the road who has an electric scooter-thing that he drives along the cycle tracks and frightens the life out of me on a regular basis. I will talk to the motor registry and health department tomorrow. I need one of these.

In NSW (Australia) there is a grey area in the rules of motor vehicles that if a vehicle has less than a certain amount of power (200 watts I think) it is not a motor vehicle!
In my town there are scooters with small two stroke engines running around town and the police are powerless to do anything, there is even a guy with an oversized skateboard with engine!
They created the rules to cover motorised wheelchairs and those scooters for the elderly and disabled and now everyone can take advantage of it!
