A friend of GaryC has sent Gary these images from some little race in Indiana. Gary says he thinks they may be 1966 but would like confirmation or otherwise, and some details about each car.
Sorry they are a tad small but they are scanned from slides, apparently.

1968 I think, Barry. The third one (no 64) is Larry Dickson's Andretti Racing Enterprises/Overseas National Airways Hawk II-Ford.
The others must be non-qualifiers, as those numbers were not raced in 1968.

Among those who missed the show and otherwise:
1964 -- #36 was for the Team Lotus spare; no #69
1965 -- #36 Paul Goldsmith, Offy but the picture I have shows a different color scheme; # 69 Gig Stevens Offy Roadster
1966 -- #36 Bob Hurt entered by Viking Racing supercharged Offy; #69 Ronnie Bucknum Arciero Chevy
1967 -- #36 Gig Stevens Karl Hall Offy; #69 Hulme Eagle
1968 -- #36 Larry Dickson Jck Adams Ford; #69 Hulme Shelby turbine
1969 -- no #36; #69 Jerry Grant Chevy turbo

I am pretty sure the 69 car is the Arciero car. 36 could be Bob Hurt.

It seems to be 1966:
Mario/Dean/Brawner had entered a Lotus 38 as #1 and the 1965 Brawner/Brabham as #64. The Lotus turned out to be a slug (one of the infamous "soft-alloy specials") and the #64 became #1 on Wednesday, May 11 and Mario was clocked at 167.5 mph that day. He also got pole at a 165.899 average.
#36 is the Viking/Hurt Gerhardt-Offy.
#69 is the Arciero/Bucknam Eisert-Chev. Bucknam passed his rookie test on May 18th in this car.

I'm sure the last car is a Dean Van Lines Special, does that help, or make it worse???

Not to belabor it, but I concur...
#36 is Bob Hurt
#69 is the Arciero entered Eisert for Ronnie Bucknum.
#64, I don't know other than it must be a backup for Andretti.

One thing is clear, the #64 is the Brawner-"Brabham", and it's still sponsored by Al Dean, so it has to be pre-1968!

Looking at the 1966 Brawner carrying #1, the vertical oil cooler checks, but the decal placements don't quite match the #64 as depicted. However, as Gerr points out, the team made the switch to grab the pole. I could not find a #64 being used during the 1966 season, the number being an Indy entry for Dean Racing Enterprises.
Agree with the #36 and #69 as Hurt and Bucknum.

Here's another pictures of the Arciero car. I was not able to date the car excactly until I saw this thread today. The car is missing in my Indy Entry lists for 1966.
