The new Hock seemed more interesting than most new "Scalextric" circuits. The layout has many high speed corners, and the hairpin looks like the hairpin of Montreal, what is a good recipe for "drama".

Some people seemed to forget the new layout of first curve and went out the new track going on the old one!;) Also, I want to congratulate Eddie Irvine (the third better driver in the world, after Schuey and de la Rosa) for providing entertaintment once he saw a decent result was not possible :cat:

Many people (including me) was looking for a Macs good perfomance, forgetting the tradition in the Woking team to pull the leg of Hubbard doing all kind of antics on tracks when they run in Germany. It was funny, as ever, but I personally find the old stunt of losing a wheel at high speed a bit repetitive. Cannot they do something different next time: a beautiful fire in pitstop alla Benetton, just meters away of Merc's boss, or one of those airplanes loops so dear to Mercedes engineers?

Anyway, those who guessed with Macmen, were let down by these jokes, even our god-like Estwald was somehow caught this time (although he uses a Craig XP computer to make calculations!)

This week we have a stunning winner: Schuting Star ! He was so smart than he put his guess one week ago, in a demostration of selfconfidence and wisedom  , and got a perfect score !! If he goes on that way, who is going to stop him winning the game?

CaptMark, Zawed, LuckyStrike and our evil bot MAX did very well with 5 points . CaptnMark is lately in a rush, and (s)he is one of the players with better average in the game. It's a pity he missed 4 rounds, he could be a lot higher otherwise!

Zawed is a sort of TT6 's twin: irregular but eventually brillant. (S)he is one of that elite who got a perfect 6 score in a round, and now get a 5 points score. He started with a pityful ;) score in the three first rounds... it's a shame we cannot discount results :)

I don't want to be nasty but MAX is starting to be a threat to people who was in the top a little before (and I don't want to point out at nobody, as fisichella_2001 ;) ) Please, remember that if one ends below MAX or BERNIE (s)he will suffer a 500v electrical discharge. Or I forgot to include this issue in the rules?;)

In the disasters chapter, I'm sorry for the sudden fall of ExcessIsBest , which nickname shows that not always "excess" in guess is best. Last round he had a miss and now (s)he scored an inusual score for his/her standards. The bet for David and Jenson didn't payoff, as they were swimming all the afternoon in the middle of nowhere. Also I miss MONTOYASPEED 's guess this round, just when his beloved  ;) Juan Pablo had finally a good share of unusual luck.

This round we had two newcomers  , who realized perfectly their respective nicks: LuckyStrike was brillant with a opening of 5 points, and titrisol (that means "bad luck" in Groenland's dialect ;) ) had a nigthmare because (s)he was one of us who thought about a great day for McLaren. Anyway, thanks a lot for coming here to have a nice time, I expect your guess the next GP!

Just as I said  , there were some changes in the classification! The first and foremost is this stunning fact: gerry nassar is ONE point ahead of Estwald!!! :drunk: I don't know what will happen next, the moon will crash over the Pacific ocean? Ron Dennis will use a wig? San Marino will be the first country to land on Mars?

Please, look as Viss1 is again aproaching his prey... He only "slipped" in the second round, otherwise he would be there with those two. Sek has tripped a bit again, everytime we go to Germany he seems to lose a bit of concentration: maybe he looks too much to the valkyries there in the tribune! :)

SeanValen, Ghostrider go on faithfully pursuing the top end   (no pun intended with so many "ups" ;) )

I recover below the "average point" ranking, as always including those with more than the half of rounds completed (is to say, at least 6 guesses):

[B]

gerry nassar	4.40	10

Estwald 4.30	10

dynamite7	4.22	9

Viss1 4.10	10

SeanValen	4.00	10

Ghostrider	3.90	10

CaptnMark	3.83	6

sek 3.80	10

Makarias	3.80	10

Look dynamite7 , he is brillant, isn't he? :)

As always, big thanks to everyone! I hope you are doing well, and I hope we meet in two weeks time to have another nice moment here.

Goodbye, see you soon, my friends!

I lost one point to Sean, but he is a tough competitor. I will revise my tactics over the summer break! :smoking:

Brilliant competition Schummy!! Thanx!

Well haven't I slipped quite a bit in the summer heat... I've learnt my lesson now, don't ever bet on Rubens for a win! :

Keep up the good work Schummy! :)

Great to have a good close fight here, top 8 are all pretty close, but in this competition every point seems a winner, and glad I got a point up to Estwald:smoking:

Gerry Nassar laps the field. :smoking:

Had to try something different. If it wasn't for Ralf's and Ruben's pit-stop adventures it would be status qou. Oh well, there's still 5 more to go.

Thanks Schummy

That was a tough last minute desicion to choose Monty for that last podium position. Oooohh this is so damn close!!! I can see you all gaining in your mirrors. Estwald nice battle!!

As for Viss1 - you seem to be catching me in all these games!! Offcourse thats only because you have a better car at this stage in the season. ;)

 I should go on holiday more often, or maybe guess all the gps now while I'm having some luck!

For future reference, it's 'she' :)

Schuting Star: duly noted :) Somehow I seem to always mess this. When I say 'he' it's 'she', when I say 'she' is 'he', when I say 'she/he' it's... ummm... let's pass this one... ;)

BTW, is your nick from the "Shooting Star", Barnard's Star, the apparent fastest star in the sky? My self answer is not, but I ask just in case :)

It's a combination of two of my interests, F1 and my support for Michael and my love for astronomy. So yes, you are actually correct in your assumption!
