just tried it, it
Only played single-player so far. Will try multi tonight.

If you want the other cars just race 1 lap races on the level you can still beat them easily.

....on-line works great !!
when you're connected to a host, press escape, this will reveal your options (pits/join/options etc)
You might want to get the fastest car before you get online ,for the obvious reasons ofcourse ;)

Hehe.. i prefer the Suzuki Swift over the rwd and turbo car!

especially at the rallycross track, its just so much fun!. The physics is better then GPL, especially the tirephysics and collision-detection.

If you bump into another car in GPL, it generally explode and cars flies to moon, but in this game you can even drive fast into the tirewalls and it just feels so real!, or bump into other cars without risking too much (except for a spin)

the multiplayer.. well.. it works great!, even for modemusers.i think its better then GPL too :)
you see nametags over the other cars when you approach them, easy to tell who is who then, aswell as each car is personalised aswell as you see their licenseplates :)

it gives the cars a personal touch!. great idea of them.

the only bad thing is that the program freezes my computer once in a while when hosting etc.

can't find a way to get it to recognize my joystick, so i had to test it with a mouse.. seemd ok, but hard to tell driving with the mouse :

Ive tried setting my joystick as a wheel with two axis in the controllpanel, but no difference. anyone who has an idea?

well... acceleration/brake is on one axis, and steering on the other... shouldn't that work?

It feels like I'm driving through jam, there is absolutely no sensation of speed eventhough I'm going 150+ kph.

It seemed slightly better when I ran it windowed.

The physics feel nice apart from the fact that no road car that I know of understeers at 70kph.

A hint for those who don't have the turbo car!

Play singel player with as many AI you can set the level at PRO and you will get 48 credits each race, and then you only have to do 4 / 5 races.

As it seems that the list of games is sometimes not displayed, and there is to servers to use, we have to say wich server to use.

The one that works for me now is : 213.93.222.114

The normal server is : 60.30.60.159

You can visit Live For Speed , and keep updated if the IP adress change.

I have problems to join the standard site sometimes, but the other works fine.

Open cfg.txt and find the line that starts with "selected car". Change it to "Selected Car XR GT TURBO".
