(6Mb)

First seconds are in Dutch, but everything else is in English.

They talk about go-karts, racing in general, how to be successfull with an F-1 team, about Spa, family and F1 and more.

Michael about karting against each other: "I don't know what the score is, I do know the last time I was the loser. We were in Genk, in the rain, and ehm, well, I think I learnt something."

About Jos:
"I would be, obviously, more than happy if Jos is back, for personal reasons as well as much as for business reasons ( ) and for his own comfort obviously. Time will tell."

It's from todays race preview on Dutch TV, someone made a DivX movie from it. I only took the audio of it, because I cant host a 60Mb video and I don't want to bring the guy into trouble if I post the link here.

Nobody thinks it's weird that Michael mentions twice that he & Jos have some kind of business deal?

Yeah, will likely need to have to wait out what that means later.

I like the interviewer discussing the sweat issue

Good question about drivers basic merchanical idea of the car, to help them out in f1.

Yes, didn't you know? They often spend their holidays together with their families and go go-karting together.

And the most amazing thing, Michael only said the word "honestly" twice in 15 minutes!

To be honest, I found the interview rather disappointing. :(

Maybe I expected the wrong thing, but there's nothing really said that is really worth repeating on a F1 forum. Nice friendly chit-chat, nothing more.

Thanks A3 - downloading right now. I'm really pleased you posted this; I'm a huge Verstappen fan, and an even bigger Schumacher fan .... in case anybody hasn't noticed. ;)

Then you might be interested to hear that Jos' manager Huub Rothengatter was talking with Paul Stoddart today in Minardi's hospitality truck. Apparently, Rothengatter brought a big sponsore with him.

On saturday Stoddart said he still thought Jos was one of the best drivers and that he was seriously considering the options for next year.
The reporter said that Jos would probably only be interested if Minardi canged engines. Paul replied, saying that he was close to signing a works engine deal, which would enable them to compete with the best. "Jos won't have to worry about next years engine".

Am I a Jos fan? Bigtime!

To my mind, still one of the bravest and most skilful drivers around. A Dutch Alesi, you could say .... I really enjoyed the time that Jos was Michael's teammate at Benetton - my two favourite drivers together. Hog heaven. :D

I'm certainly not a Jos fan and although I admire MS, I'm not a fan of his. But I truly enjoyed that interview and wish to thank you for allowing me to hear it.

Cheers A3 !

I think with the phrase MS was meaning Jos would be having a job again and his Arrows courtcase closed.

I don't think MS and Jos are having any business(like) relations together at all.

Noctua, you're right. When they talk about the 2002 champion caps, Olav Mol says to Michael, pointing to Jos: "You could make him a retailer in Holland." And then Jos says "There's nothing to do at the moment" which it translated totally wrong (That's what we're doing at the moment). So that's where my (and others') confusion comes from. :drunk:

I'd expect them to ask questions about Jos rumoured-downturn of the Ferrari testdrive for 2002,., i was really interested how serious that was. Shame they didnt tell us that.

It was serious allright. But Jos was tied to his Arrows contract.
