In the Shelby Cobra's International competition debut at the 1963 Daytona 3 Hours, CSX2026 driven by Dave MacDonald finished fourth behind two Ferrari 250 GTOs and a Chevrolet Corvette.

In the issue #2027 of the French magazine Moto-Revue of May 1971 was the report on the XIXe Circuit International de Bourg-en-Bresse. Among the winners were Walter Villa (who won the Inter 350cc event with a Yamaha) and Christian Bourgeois (who won both the 250cc and 500cc Inter races, also with a Yamaha).
