I don't know what to think of it. The driving isn't that bad, even though it's more of an arcade than simulation title. But the game setting is uh... banal. I mean, how many futuristic racers have I seen? Basically, the demo only permit you the ghost-chasing/against the clock lapping, and you don't get to enter the garage and tweak your car (the option is greyed out).
And, franckly, you've got a car that repairs itself (shape recognition materials?), an auto-pilot so you can adjust wing angle without stopping (Knight Rider?), a 'target' function which serves to indentify the guy that is passing you (Wheew, I was afraid there were rockets involved), and tracks with glowing signalisation imbeded in the tarmac (you've got three of them in the demo: NY, Paris and 'Egypt'

Hmmm, not really my cup of tea, but still I'll give it some more try when I'm tired of GPL... What I'm wondering is, what was Jacques thinking putting his name on this piece? -- And is this really his vision of how racing could look like in twenty years? Why stick with the 10-6-4-3-2-1 point scheme, then?!

Experience an extremely realistic race feeling in a futuristic game environment
Eh? If it's futuristic, how do they know it's realistic?

It is very realistic - you can tell how many Gs you are feeling, how much slipstream you're experiencing, etc.
I think the engine is a good one

Finally, I don't have a very powerfull computer and I can really enjoy the game. (AMD K6-2 450mhz, 192MB RAM, 32MB video card.)
Any question?

Ubisoft put a server online where up to 16 players can race together. (A little bite like Monaco GP.)

Bound to be mad fun in multiplayer, though

yeqah i would get something like that too, comming out of a corner the car still turns but your telling it not to.

In Montreal, the game is now available in every computer store.
