Hi does anybody on this message board own Microprose GPM2?
I was recently playing GPM 1 and I had so much fun with it. I never got the chance of playing GPM2 because I don't think it was ever released here, no stores ever had it that I remember and none of them have any copies left, except for a few GPM1's.
I have no problem paying a small fee if sombody here could burn me a copy of the game and mail it to me.

GPM 2 was basically an updated version of GPM. I actually think GPM1 was better. The problem with these two games was that there was literally no overtaking! I tried this once, sending my Williamsdrivers out to qualify on wet weather tyres, with a completely screwed up setup, so I started a bit down the field - then I put them on D tyres with fuel for about ten laps and... nothing. Not a single pass, even though they were down in something like 15th place and the drivers had a 5 star rating in overtaking...

GPM1 is still the best F1-management game around though. I'm still waiting for the Championship Manager team to start working on a Formula One sim, that would be great! (They're doing Hockey now so who knows what they'll do in the future?)

Hey, just found my copy of GPM2 in the back of a closet :D Might play around with it a bit, I was pretty hooked all those years ago... :) I played GPM1 for a very short time as it was old when I finally got my hands on it, and GPM2 was just out so I went nearly straight on to that.
