I bought one the other day to replace my well worn Wingman Force (one of the original ones). So far I'm impressed, it's very sturdy and feels solid. The pedals are a major improvement, nice and big and the brake pedal has good resistance. As far as force feedback wheels go, I don't know how it compares to others as it's the first FF wheel I've ever used (I'm still getting used to it).

All in all a good purchase.

I am looking for a new FF wheel since XP ignors my old M$ Sidewinder. What is differerence, except price, between the two Momo wheels?

The new Momo has more plastic. The wheel is rubber, not stitched leather. But it's about $100 cheaper and feels pretty good. The mounting system is different (a little nicer I think). It has a shift lever on the side that is moveable to either the left or right sides. The pedals are improved and has an adjustable gripper for carpeting. It's gear driven like most all of them nowadays and I'm still getting used to it. It feels a little heavy compared to my old cable operated wheel. One thing that was bugging me for a while was a real heavy off-center feeling, like steering help was on. There's an option in it's control panel to turn on a self centering spring. That helped alot.

My wonderful wife bought me a refurbished Logitech Momo Wheel (the one with the leather wheel) from Buy.com for $99. It works great! There is a 90 day warranty on the refurbished wheels, so it's not much of a risk.

So far I have driven F1-2002 and the GT Mod for that game on it and have been very pleased. My first FF wheel was a pully driven Logitech wheel that made so much noise that I couldn't use it when my daughter was sleeping as the noise would wake her up.
