Have a go mate and just remember not to get too wound up about it. YOU CAN DO IT!! (ever see the Waterboy?)
Thanks coach
Things is - I have done all that except the damper bound and rebound and the LSD ... so I guess I'll go back and try playing around with that a bit then.

we didn't stuff around with suspension, well i just changed the gears to auto 28, and brakes to 22/22. everything else was stock.. i guess if i kept playing and did some suspension setup i would get a better time.. but next time ;)
with gear ratios 28 i get around 335/6 at the front straight before the right hander

Looks ugly, I know.
I didn't have much time to play.

Split times 1st 14.973, 2nd 43.192, 3rd 1:03.432
Thats about the best i can do. In theory i think i can go another 2/10ths faster because my best
ever 1st sector is 14.7 and best at the 2nd sector is 42.9 but i doubt i could bring it all together in one lap
I wouldnt have thought it was possible to do that time a couple of days ago, but then i discovered
that changing your own gears really is heaps quicker than Auto once you get the hang of it. Took my a while to adapt cause ive always driven in auto mode but i now owe a couple of people an apology cause they told me it was faster and i didnt believe them.

i knew you were sandbagging!!
i've officially finished racing for this round. i got a 1.23.596 without hitting the wall. hitting the wall for me it saves 2 tenths, maybe im not hitting it properly anyway that time was with the suspension setup minus lsd and vcd (makes the car for me to have less understeer)
so congratulations to whoever beats Talk Is Cheap Racing during the night!

Chasing tenths and cursing, and half a second turns up. Ta for the setup tips JDR, with a hybrid version, I'm getting there. May be back...

Yup, i'd never driven manual before because i felt i could control the steering and braking better with auto (less to do with my fingers). I think i've got the hang of it now though. I'm not sure if it will always be quicker but it certainly was this round.

Don't know if I have the time to improve... friends and family are calling. Maybe later.

Thanks OZF1, next time I need it a little bit erlier.
One of my bigest problem besides my driving, is that I don't like to spend time trying
different setups, and I don't know which way to go, so if you can help me there I'd appreciated.

It's a tight fight for first place team between Roadkill Racing and Talk is Cheap Racing, we have a tenth of a second in hand so far: TT6 we meet again
I think that's all for me this round. And a well enjoyable round it was too.

I can't drive in auto at all any more, always manual. Assuming that Chrissy Boy hasn't been using auto as well I'd assume that ozf1 switching to manual will make the fight for first place much tighter this season.

By the way, I drove my fastest lap with my old full digital psx-pad. It's easier to stick pedal to the metal when the acceleraton button is not pressure sensitive.

I improved over a second: 1:23:701 but couldn't post it... It would be a great improvement for Roadkill Racing...
See you next Round
Since Gran Turismo, I've always used manual L1 shift down, R1 shift up , steering with left analog and breaking and throtle with right analog...
Manual lets you control better the way the car handles in turns, using it properly helps to counter understeer or oversteer. well that's my opinion...
