It's so sad - especially at this time of year - Will Hoy passed away last night, having developed an inoperable brain tumour whose symptoms first manifested themselves seriously during the Goodwood Revival meeting in September. In many ways you couldn't have wished to meet a nicer guy...

OMG!
Although I never really followed his career that closely I always thought "nice chap!" whenever I saw him interviewed.
Condolences to family and friends.

Oh my God!!
This is absolutely terrible news. I adored Will as a person and as a driver as I'm a huge Touring Car fan. I will remember his smile and his personality as well as his driving skills.
My deepest sympathies to his family and all his friends.

R.I.P
Very sad news, as Will was a funny chap, (dyed his moustache blue after winning with Mondeo in BTCC) and a good driver.

Will was at least ten years younger than me - this sort of sad news is just a big wake up call
My thoughts go out to his friends and relatives.

What terrible news. He was a fine driver and also (and this is rare), a thoroughly decent bloke, completely down to earth and devoid of all traces of ego and pretentiousness.

I never knew Will was ill. Im a little shocked at this news. All I can say is I hope those close to him are ok and R.I.P. He will be missed as a gent and a true racer.
