Awesome! This is *not* the 1001 "let's put some Tyrrell pics in the net and call it "Tyrrell Site"" Website. This guy started sending a simple fax to England just asking "Can I visit the Tyrrell "Factory"". The simple reply was "yes". Sometimes life is so easy :D Years later he and Richard Impett are close friends. What a great Story! Well, everbody who's not into German language. This is the time to learn German :)

Thanks tyrrellp34 for the hint!

See you in the simmods Forum?

You mean the Tyrrell wing cars? BTW: Have a look at the '79 Tyrrell (009) and the Lotus 79 and try to spot the difference ;-) In 1979 it was considered as the best "Lotus Kopie".... In the South African GP 1979 you had to the left a "blue Lotus" (Pironi) and to the right the Lotus 79 of Andretti ;) Lots of eye rubbing :)

There are a few Tyrrell photos, including one of Ken, here:
Curt's Long Beach Photos

Curt also did some photography at Riverside International Raceway, principally at a vintage car weekend, but including some 1967-71 or so Can-Am races:
Curt's Riverside International Raceway Photos

Many of those are identified and displayed on the Racing Sports Cars site.

I purchased these slides from Curt Anderson, who ceded me the copy rights. Please feel free to use them as you like.

I'll appreciate any identifications or added notes.

Sorry!

Not all pics are made by me, of course. Some I got from the Depailler family.

Stefan

I've just watched this (twice!).

I've never seen anything as good as this - it was like watching a film.

We really should have an Annual Award for the best thread on TNF - although it would be difficult to imagine this being beaten...

Thanks!

The Depailler pictures in particular are really quite something.

I'm quite stunned

What a shame, I'm late, none of the links work anymore and Tyrrell.de is empty too. Where have I been hanging around?
