CHECK OUT THE NEW VOTING RULES BELOW!!
In addition to the regular San Marino Voting, feel free also to add a Results Satisfaction rating for the revised final results of the BRAZILIAN GP (make it clear which rating is for Brazil)
------------------------------------------
Remember to consider the whole weekend, not just the race.
------------------------------------------
Step 1 - GP takes place & voting opens
Step 2 - Everybody votes according to these rules:

* You can give a driver either three, two or one point. (Or zero, which is default.)

* You can distribute no more than eight points (but less if you want to).

* You need to vote for at least two drivers.

If I feel you are simply voting for the fav driver each time I'll put you on the blacklist for a while. (I won't be voting myself, to make it fairer) Also not arguing over somebody elses votes or again on the blacklist you go. Posts should be along the lines of:

...3 points: the driver/s you think did the best job during the weekend
...2 points: the next best ones
...1 point: the ones after that

Make it clear which Schumacher you mean, and which driver is Top Drive. Don't use the abbreviation JV, as it can mean both Jacques Villeneuve and Jos Verstappen. Also be clear about Ralf Schumacher and Ralph Firman.

Step 3- Voting will close in about a week

Step 4 - I'll add up the total number of votes. This will produce a 'race result'. Should drivers have the same voting score then I will split them by who has had the most Top Votes. If that fails then in reversed race result order.

Step 5 - The drivers will then be awarded championship points on a 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 system.
---------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Rate the race
------------------------------------------
Please rate the race from 0-10, using the following guide.

Quality of race
This should be a reflection of how good the race was, not how much you liked the results. Please don't give it a one or two just because driver X failed to win the championship. Think about how much it had your pulse racing and you guessing at what the end result was going to be. Use the guide below to help, and think carefully. Try to compare it not just to the last few races, but all the grand prix you've ever watched. Votes of 9 and 10 should be quite rare.

10 The best race I've ever seen
9 Contender for the best race of the last few seasons
8 Contender for the best race of the season
7 Brilliant race, I was on the edge of my seat for a lot of the race
6 Better than average, more than a few on the edge the seat moments
5 An average race, nothing spectacular but worth watching
4 Below average, too few exciting moments
3 Well, there was one or two moments of interest
2 That was completely predictable
1 I struggled to watch it all the way through
0 I slept through most of it

Satisfaction with the results
Please also rate the race in terms of how satisfied you are with the results. This one
should be based on if driver X wins the championship or not! Also factors such controversy
over DQ's that sour the event should be considered.

10 All the right results, and done with style
9 All the right results, if not in the best manner
8 Mostly the right results
7 Mostly the right results with a bit of luck
6 Some of drivers/teams I liked did well
5 Neither happy nor sad with the results
4 My likes didn't quite manage to do well
3 My likes did quite badly
2 My likes did quite badly and my dislikes did good
1 All the wrong drivers/teams did very well but I'll give them credit for doing it well
0 All the wrong drivers/teams did very well and the right ones did badly

Note: people who are on the Voting Championship blacklist can still participate in Rate the race.

2003 so far:

GP Quality Satisfaction

Australia 7.89 6.91

Malaysia	6.83 7.34

Brazil 7.28 5.93

Hmmmm let's see now, Ralf outqualifies and outraces JPM, plus Ralf has no small distraction to overcome as well, and you give JPM 2 points and Ralf 0 points.

I guess I should say I am surprised, but you have a long history of being an idiot.

Winner - 3 points - Ralf Schumacher. In a weekend full of personal drama, on saturday he managed to be faster than his teammate; today, he made a great start, and hold MS's faster Ferrari for a good part of the race. Too bad he was not on podium

2 points to - Rubens Barrichello. Was fast and competend during the whole weekend, and his move over Ralf Schumacher was the highlight of the GP. Rubinho is certainly in a great shape, pehaps the best of his career? Only time will tell
also 2 points toKimi Raikkonen. A great drive, used McLaren tatics much better than his teammate. Another race that make him the contendant of 2003 c'ship.

1 point to - Michael Schumacher, back to winning, in a weekend he and his brother would rather forget. Trully professional.

 I am taking into account that Rubens had a much better car than Ralf, what the hell are you taking into account when Ralf and Juan had the same car?(How much you want to sleep with JPM).

You are setting standards in cluelessness that will live forever.

Just to make Makarias job a little easier... you can distribute only 8 points, people. Some of the Atlasholics here may want to revise their votes.

Thanks

Michael Schumacher - first time I found myself cheering for Schumacher actually - so there is a first for everything. Great job under difficult personal circumstances to come back with a dominant win.

2 points
Ralf Schumacher - Never a big fan of Ralf but a big basher of him (well sort of anyway) I surprised myself by cheering for him in the race as well as for his brother. Strange things indeed. He's taken a lot of crap personally this year and being seemingly a bit "weak mentally" this was a drive as strong as they gets. Would have wanted to see him on the podium though - he keeps getting in Michaels shadow.

2 points
Rubens Barrichello - Second place was his if it wasn't for that stupid pit mistakes! great fightback drive in the later part though - a couple of more laps and he would have taken Kimi I'm sure. That's how it looked.

1 points
Kimi Räikkönen - Delivered the points with a steady drive, although not very spectacular

Quality of the race
6

Satisfaction with the results
5 - would have been lower because my favourites did horrible.... but it was a pretty fitting result anyway

Nik and Sammyed : please behave! I'd appreciate if you could handle your personal disagreements elsewhere, thank you very much. Try PM's!

And madmac and 130R , you've both given more than eight points! If you don't edit your posts, I might either ignore them completely or possibly give all the drivers listed fewer points.

Otherwise the system seems to work OK. The 3-2-2-1 seems to be a popular choice.
