Heh! we`re talking about 3d renders here, not the performance of the car.

Doh  Anyway, the way these threads tend to wander off topic, I don't see why we can't turn this one into an FW-25 bash... er... analyzing thread :)

Me three

Esp. since the car was competitive all weekend & only lost out on podium due to bad luck in the pit area.
In fact, the race was actually decided on the pit area for all teams as the announcers kept saying!

I've noticed in the last couple of years that Williams consistenly has quick stops 1-3 seconds quicker than Ferrari & Mac.

But they also show alot of inconsistencies during that time period also leading to costly mistakes.

Anyhow, Williams will get 1 any race now for sure.

Excellent renderings.

But FW, keep it up! Your renderings are excellent, too. Like any artist you have a different style.

fw, dont let that dishearten you... frankly if you look REALLY closely their model is only good, not the very best. where they are winning out is on the render. they have a great surface, environment and lighting setup and a good use of depth of field etc

one thing thats REALLY valuable in getting that 'real feel' is the use of microbevels. pretty much never have an edge without one, it gives you that lovely 'solid' feel to things.

The company did that for Eurosport. You can't not do your own model just because of that :) They may have even been given help from Williams, you don't know how they did those models or what reference material they had.

Keep going.
