They seem to do worse each race..

There is something wrong with that car and the team don't seem to know what it is. It can't be the engine.. It's certainly not the drivers.

I fear that Sauber may finish 8:e in the championchip this year.

It's just not fast enough

Someone hold me.............................

Nowts wrong with Sauber, they do what they do best, grind out points finishes, you mark my words, they'll have more than Jordan come the end of the season.

(I'm a hostage to fortune now)

Frentzen is the Black Angel of Death for small F1 teams. He took Jordan from close to the top to nowhere, hammered the last nail in Prost F1's coughin, and then stuck a fork in Arrows. Poor Sauber has now been contaminated by his affliction. :(

Come off it Todd,

Frentzen made Jordan, it's not his fault the 2000 Jorda was pathetic. 1999 showe Frentzen's true class.

Isnt this typical Sauber season? As the season marches on their Ferrari engine becomes less and less 'fresh' and they slip down the order.

Sauber's problems are nothing that money can't cure. Granted they have a good engine but look at Williams, the engine isn't everything. Frankly, i'm more surprised at Jaguar's and Toyota's problems - Williams will manage to find a cure, however, in spite of their current high position Renault is just on placebos.

Too many people still have Sauber's 2001 efforts affecting their impressions of Sauber.

Take out 2001(where a combo of Twin Keel and weak midfield opposition helped them out heaps), and is Sauber any different this year or last, from the uninspiring Johnny Herbert/Jean Alesi days of 1997, 1998???

This year's Sauber chassis is not as good as it was last year. The other works teams have just stepped up.

With Sauber's smaller budget, they are doing the best that they can. All the teams ahead of them are works teams. Renault, Jaguar, even BAR-Honda have greatly improved from last year. If Toyota gets on top of their problems, then Sauber can only hope to be 7th or 8th at best.

F2002 engines are excepted to see in back of the Sauber in Canadian GP.

However I think Sauber is struggling with balance problem thanks to bad aero package. There is potential to do better and we will see if the drivers can tame the car and work on setup. Kimi would be much needed in Sauber now :D

Last night I saw on RTL's friday practice report. They jump from team to team and at Sauber mechanics were reading the newspaper. It was said that "Sauber is waiting for the new windtunnel and that they do little on the car. A different sight than the other teams."

Is it me, or have Sauber just completely ****ed up their front end? the car looks like the <2000 style front of F1 cars, nothing like the 2001> type cars, maybe that is a problem for them? the are not generating enough downforce at the front end maybe?
