i just found out from a fellow member that Ken Miles competed in the 1951 Measham Rally in a 1928 Riley.
Does anyone know anymore about Miles in this car, what model, colour etc.
Perhaps someone knows of a picture of Miles in this car in a book that i could seek out.

SINCE KEN MILES relinquished
the agency for Lotus cars, many people
have wondered to whom to direct
inquiries. We understand that Colin
Chapman, the well known designer,
constructor and successful driver of
this car, will be at Sebring and he
explains the position to quote: “I do
not feel I can make a firm agree-
ment regarding the agency until my
visit to Sebring. In the meantime 4
MK 9 cars, 2 with engines and 2
without are available at the Los
Angeles docks and these are avail-
able for disposal, without prejudice
to further agency agreements,
through Frank Monise, Monise Mo-
tors, 2530 East Walnut St., Pasa-
dena — SYcamore 3-3953 or Jay
Chamberlain, 2909 W. Olive, Bur-
bank—THornwall 6-0440.
