IMPORTANT! (Please read to keep this from getting messy!)
Just like the previous 3 years, my annual article on the happenings in and around Montréal on GP weekend will be, once again, here in the Readers Comments Forum in order to make it fully interactive! By interactive, we mean that once you have read the article, should you have any questions to ask or things to add, you will be able to do so in order to benefit everyone. However there are a couple simple rules I ask you to follow:
1.) Should you have a question to ask pertaining to something outlined in the article, please feel free to post it here and I will do my best to answer it for you.
2.) Should you know of an event, which I have omitted from this listing, PLEASE DO NOT POST IT HERE. Send me a PM with all the info you have on the event so that I may verify it and then add it to my original listing. This will keep the event listing all in one post rather than scattered throughout the thread.
Thank you & enjoy!;)

HERE WE GO AGAIN! THE FORMULA 1 CIRCUS IS COMING TO TOWN FOR IT'S FIRST NORTH AMERICAN STOP OF THE 2003 SEASON! MONTRÉAL, THE CITY OF FESTIVALS, IS ABOUT TO HOST THE 'KICK-OFF TO SUMMER' FESTIVAL, BETTER KNOWN AS THE CANADIAN GRAND PRIX, AND WHAT A PARTY IT WILL BE!
With Grand Prix Week all set to begin here in Montréal, the fun is lined up just waiting for you to arrive! Again this year, the main event away from the track will be the Crescent Street Festival! With everything from Pit-Stop competitions on the street, to live concerts, static racing displays and people galore, Crescent Street is where it's happening! Not to worry, the neighboring streets are not to be left out with such events as the Ferrari Parade and many other attractions.
In the heart of the action on Crescent Street, will be the
~4th Annual ATLAS F1 Canadian Grand Prix Headquarters.~
For the 2nd year in a row, we have been welcomed back to:
The Hard Rock Café

WHAT IS THE ATLAS F1 HEADQUARTERS? Simply put, it is a place for Atlas F1 Readers, and actually all F1 enthusiasts, to meet, have a cold drink, maybe some food and good conversation.
WHERE IS THE ATLAS F1 HEADQUARTERS? The Atlas F1 Headquarters will be hosted at Hard Rock Café, located at 1458 Crescent Street (running between Ste. Catherine St. and De Maisonneuve Blvd.) in the heart of downtown Montréal. (Guy Metro station for those taking the subway.) The Hard Rock really needs no introduction and is a great place for our HQ! You can get drinks AND food at the Hard Rock so feel free to make the place home. The Hard Rock is open daily until 3am and you are welcome to drop by anytime, even after the race on Sunday if you’d like!
WHEN IS THE HEADQUARTERS OPEN? FORMAT CHANGE!Grand Prix “week” is, basically, Thursday through Sunday; hence the Headquarters will be ‘open’ from Thursday afternoon (June 12th) through Saturday night (14th). Previous years I have been your host at the Hard Rock all 3 nights

As I already said, the HQ will be open all 3 nights, however if you want to meet the most number of AltasF1 Members in one-shot, you want to be part of THE Party… Get your ass down to the Hard Rock Café FRIDAY NIGHT, June 13th! It should be a blast!
Once again my company, JETPLAST Custom Displays, will be organizing this event and I will be your Atlas F1 Headquarters’ Host. However due to previous commitments, I am not sure how often I will be at the HQ this year. I WILL be there Friday night, other than that we’ll have to see. Co-Hosts, to help me out this year, will be announced shortly.
* NOTE: Hard Rock Café is a "Restaurant" until the kitchen closes at 10pm. As such, everyone is welcome until 10pm afterwhich it becomes a "Bar" at which point all patrons must be of legal drinking age. Legal drinking age in Montréal is 18 and therefore all Bars, Night Clubs, Taverns (“Brasseries” in Québec) and Pubs must adhere to this age restriction for entry into the establishment.

WILL IT COST ANYTHING TO GET INTO THE HEADQUARTERS?
IMPORTANT!
Seeing as the wait in line to get into The Hard Rock on GP weekend can sometimes be 1-2 hours

SORRY, GUEST LIST IS FINALIZED, NO MORE VIP PASSES WILL BE ISSUED. Hope you got yours!
If you do not get your pass request in or do not receive your pass in time, not to worry. The sole purpose of the VIP Pass is to get you in ahead of any line-up should there be one at the Hard Rock Café when you want to get in. Last year I don't think there was ever such a line-up that required AtlasF1 folks to actually use these passes! The reason I must have you e-mail me for the link to the pass is that the Hard Rock requires a "Guest List" for the front door containing the names of all those who have passes. Thanks!;)

So be sure to drop by as often as you like, meet other Atlas F1 readers / F1 enthusiasts and enjoy all that Grand Prix Week in Montréal has to offer! We are looking forward to meeting you but don’t forget…
The AtlasF1 Canadian Grand Prix PARTY!! Friday June 13th, 2003. BE THERE!
