I figure it may be beneficial to us all to have this as a new thread for only multiplayer settings aspect.

Creating a passworded game is harder than it should be. There's a text field in the white stripe area at the bottom of the page when you create the game.

Here's an image showing where it is. -> http://members.atlas...1C_password.jpg

Good idea
If I'm ever playing, I will use the familar atlas password we've been using:
slowpoke. So anyone browsing multiplayer, I'll be practicing but always flexible for someone to join ATLAS F1 game.

In your PLR file, "X:F1 Challenge 99-02SaveYOUR_PLAYER_NAMEYOUR_PLAYER_NAME.PLR", you can find a option "Extra Stats", change this from 0 to 1, then all your race results will be saved into a separate file. This files are importent if we are going to use kanec's result program and only the last finisher has all the info in his file.

If you change the "No AI Control" setting to 1 (in your player file), then you won't get kicked out after your race is over. Then you can wait until everyone finishes before exiting, and I bet you'll have all the stats at that point. I haven't tested it, though.

I just checked after we had those races just now. It actually writes out the document as you leave the track and only those drivers who are still there as you left are written into the file.

I tried it out with the setting that wegmann mentioned but this didn't change that behaviour.

Oh I see what you mean with that AI setting. My foolishness.

What I was looking at was that I reset the server to do the next race... because of this the first race results match up AOK. However, I was the last person to leave the second race and as such I only have times for myself and position = 1.

Ok, so the results file is written when you exit the game, not when you exit the race. That explains why A3 was missing from my last results file.

i'm not sure when it does it exactly but when i restarted the second race weekend it wrote the first one out at that time.

something to check next time i guess.

yes, everyone has to wait for the server / host to exit, then everyone will be in the results file
