On my recent trip to California I visited Sears Point, and I found the Speedvision Vintage Motorsport Classis Videos Volume one and two in a shop on the paddock
The videos are taped versions of Speedvision Auto Racing TV program and contain the old well known videos of Monaco 1957 nurburgring 56 Rouen 1962 and Motorsport 1950 on volume one
and some more classic racing movies 1955 monaco, aintree and Zandvoort, francorchamps 1958
and the 1951 season excerp, brands 1964 on Volume two.
They are all those short racing movies you can buy at Duke, together on 2 volumes for a nice price of $ 1995 each volume
I find Alain de Cadenets Commentary very irritating, that of David Hobbs is much better..
but the material on the videos is very nice.
Where there any more Volumes in these series?
The site on the videos: www.whitestarduke.com does not work so I have no clue..

This series is not for sale on the Duke site...
I think it is only for sale in the US

Thanks very much for that link! Never knew it existed.

As far as the Speedvision tapes go, I'll bet they are just a compilation of the "Legends of Motorsport" programs. The 30 minute program that airs weekly, on SPEEDTV. Excellent series it is! Just saw one on the 1962 24 Heures du Mans with lots of great old footage, including an "off" by Willy Mairesse and Walter Hansgen "crunching" his Maserati! Ouch!
