Section A, seat V38.
At the back, its a better vista of this area of the circuit and easier to watch the cars go past (they are very quick). Also, you don't have the catch fencing in your line of site and you can get a better appreciation of the speed of the cars as they come down the straight.
From this end of the grandstand, you can look over your left shoulder and see the cars coming down the straight. You can see them at top speed as they hit the brakes for the first corner and you can follow them right through the right-left chicane. A lot of the passing moves happen down the main straight.
A lot of drivers make mistakes at turn 1 during practice and qualifying, but they generally just go off the track, across the grass and rejoin.
The TV screens are a long way away, so take a good pair of binoculars so you can read the time gaps off the screen.
I think the Brabham stand is probably the best General Admission stand located on a corner, but I have only tried Brabham, Fangio, Senna and Schumacher.
I tried the Fangio stand (pit straight) for the first time last year and was pleasantly surprised. You see, I only really go to see the racing rather than the so called "F1 circus". But when you're on the main straight, you're really in the thick of the action. Granted, you're not near a corner where you might see the odd passing move or the odd crash, but experience tells me you don't see too much of that during the race anyway and you're pretty lucky if it happens on your corner and even luckier if you were watching at the time. A better view of the TV screens is a big help when trying to follow the racing. Also, from the pit straight, you get the best view of the start. You can watch the activies in the pits and you get all the pre-race stuff including the grid girls

happening right in front of you. If you choose this stand, again, choose something up the back (bloody catch fences) and try to position yourself near you favourite team pit garage. This year, I was straight across from the Jaguar pit! (Go Webber). If you're a Ferrari, McLaren or Williams fan you will end up being near the start/finish line, which would be great during the start and the pre-start stuff. Drivers photo is right in front of you!
Hope it helps.
