Dear Colleagues,

I have a Logitech Momo 6 months old,and I started having a problem where I gradually lose power only in the throttle. To confirm that,I go to the calibration section of GPL and efectively I see that the throttle is not going to zero as it should.I try to calibrare it and nothing happens, then I go to the Logi profiler soft and nothing happens. The only way I can fix it is putting off my computer and starting it again. There I go to thr GPL calibration and it is OK.BUT ONCE IN THE RACE IT HAPPENS AGAIN!!!.
Hope I described it properly.
Does anybody experienced it.Does anybody has a solution???

Thank you in advance as usual

Sounds like your pots (that's potentiometers) are getting dirty and thus lost a bit of their range. Well, I think anyway. Or, (it happned to me, don't laugh) one of your cable going from pedals to steering, or pedal to computer, is a bit loose, not correctly plugged in.

For the second possibility, it's easy. Just double check it's connected well..

For the first one (pots), try reading a bit of the following webpage by Johnne Lugnutt, under the 'STEP 4' chapter.... :

Good luck :)

ive got/had the same prob with my 360 modena. in the game it feels like youre only getting 90% power...and sure enough, going into the calibration screens (either in game, or the 'proper' thrustmaster ones) it doesnt come on 100%.

i traced the problem back to 1 thing, that had 2 variations.....

as max said, it was just gunk down in the pedal assembly....random bits of cat hair, dust...whatever.

one time it was actually just stopping me getting full range on the accellerator, once, the accel was fine, but it was the brake that wasnt totaly 'turning off'...so basically i was dragging the brake everywhere.....both give you the same end result though.

just un-screw it all and pull out any muck, and give it a good blow, and it should be fine.

now i know what to look for, if i get a hint the same thing is happening again, you can 'clear' it out by reversing your vacuum and blowing down the little gaps around the pedals (or even giving it a good huff with your mouth will do the job)...saves you pulling it appart

i have the same problem with my logitech momo. As i leave the pit lane, my maximum speed is a whopping 23mph!! I checked the calibration of the pedals, and it shows that when i hit the accelerator, the calibration needle is only hitting the 40% mark and refuses to go any higher.
