I am absolutely confused from Time Zones.

Just for make it clear I am in Prague (Czech republic) and we have 14:10 here. Now we are GMT+2 (After 26th of October it will change to GMT+1 because of Summer time period will finish).

Indianapolis currently has GMT-5 (but for US GP time schedule AtlasF1 writes GMT-6, which will become truth after Summer time will end after 26th of October), so there is 7:10 AM now. Means Indiana = Prague - 7 hours.

To make it even more confusing, AtlasF1 writes US GP starts at 14:00 local time, while according to formula1.com it starts at 13:00 local time. As live TV coverage here in Prague is scheduled for 20:00 our time, I would conclude it really starts at 13:00 local time. But I am not sure at all!

Why I am so confused? Probably because even my computer doesn't know!!

It says London has always GMT time, which is not true according to http://www.greenwichmeantime.com GMT is 12:10 and London is 13:10 now.

So, am I right if I will say US GP starts at 13:00 of Indianapolis time, 18:00 of GMT time, 19:00 of London time, and 20:00 of Praue time?

Furthermore, in My AtlasF1's 'Time Now Around the World' feature I have setup Prague time as GMT+2. Need I change it to GMT+1 after Summer time will end? Thanks for clarification :)

Just for the record, Indiana is the bastard stepchild of timezones. As an eastern time-zone resident living only 9 miles from Indiana, I can vouch that I still can't fully explain what goes on there. Every time I drive through the state (usually to Chicago) it seems that the time always changes in a different spot. However, for the races, I can assure you that they will be on US Central Time this coming weekend, which will be +8 for you--the catch being that some of the events have different times to better accomodate primetime Euro-viewers.

Hope this clears up a little . . .

Nope, why bother? In the summer we have 24 hours of sun, in the winter we have 24 hours of darkness. Changing the clock wouldn't change that :p

Icelanders are weird people. They have huge internet access and mobile phone usage, yet there's only some 4 McDonalds to be found in the entire country. Pah!
