I have downloaded the BMW-M3 Challenge update and it works fine. I have also downloaded F1rst and it works (sometimes). The great news is that in either F1C or BMW-M3 I can download a track in F1rst simply by offering to host that track and it will install it. Great.

BUT. I don't want to have to download each add-on track twice )once for F1C and once for BMW-M3). The track is now on my harddrive, is it possible to just copy it to the other "game"?

I tried it for zandvoort (which I downloaded for BMW-M3). I copied the zandvoort folder to F1C and, while F1rst actuallly found it and launched F1C with the right track, I don't get zandvoort as an option when I start F1C like I do when I start BMW-M3. What am I missing?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am quite confused at this point.

Miguel

P.S. Why do they have to duplicate tracks anyways?

I did the same thing and it worked for me. I'd take another good look if I were you.;)

Ok, I took a good look. Sure enough, the tracks ARE there, but only in the 1999-2002 seasons. As I usually run in the RH2003 season (I like the cars, after all) I would like for the tracks to show up there (including Spa, if possible).

Any idea how to do that? Or do you just run in 2002 season when you want a different track (and lose the great RH car shapes and logos)?

P.S. Any idea how to get rid of the irritating EA Sports "its in the game" and promo video from starting up?

Kinda unusual to reply to your own question, but I did figure out how to add the new tracks to the menu. You need to edit each track's .gdb file and edit the "Filter Properties" line to include "RH2003". Now when the game scans the circuits it will recognize that each track belongs with the RH 2003 "season". Works great now after I edited each of the newly added tracks.

Still seems a shame that you need two copies of each track in order for both F1C and the BMW-M3 Challenge to work properly. You really would have thought that the folks who created the BMW-M3 add-in would have used the same Ciruit data. If each new add-on does it this way I will need a lot bigger space for my games!

Still have not figured out how to stop the EA Sports start up movies though...

Hey miguelito

Try this link here: http://godzila.m4driving.sm/download/

There is an .exe file to remove EA logo & start up movie.
