They allow tobacco advertising but no liquor.
i do not do either, so I do not care, but I found it rather interesting.

I just find it strange that tobacco is allowed, but not liquor. Or that advertising a product's name is not allowed, but you can show the "bottle" everywhere.
How will they celebrate at Bahrain ? I guess F1 drivers will have to watch videos of other athletes in cycling or the Olympics to learn how to do it.

iirc, nasty's right about france. there has been a few years where there has been no champagne spraying in france. Reason's ranged from the restrictions on alcohol advertising, to the fact that French people are known for being French.
