I've seen better stuff both gfx and physics wise but it's right up there with the top mods so far.
Really good fun....as ETCC is in real life.;)

Just started a championship in the SEAT. Qualified 18th out of 20. Managed to get an average start and made a few places but for the 11 laps that followed, it was nose to tail all the way. After a few laps I thought, this can't go on, its too intense. The AI will rear end me sooner or later but they never. One of them even made an amazing outside pass on me. Its so well made, especially the AI.
I would say the only downside is the engine sounds are a bit naff but overall.
FANTASTIC

I signed up here last month. Really like this place. Many mature discussions and equally childish stuff too.

Linus, I thought the engine sounds and other sounds were so well done, they were the best I ever heard in any sim till date, even better than NR2003 with all the addon sounds too.

Aye, the FWD cars blister their tyres very quickly if you don't drive them easily. They're great for short 4 or 5 lap sprint races. But after that the Beamers usually spank you.
I am hooked on the quattro Audi's :

If they fixed that and the replay system then I would love F1C and its mods for ever more.

I had a 13 lap race with a front wheel drive car, last 4 laps, tyres were history. Good cars if pitstops used or short races as you say.

I always lock the brakes in F1C!! Unless anti-lock brakes is somehow actually on or you have a controller travel issue you should definitely be able to lock them up.

I think from memory I saw that you can import your settings from F1C into ETCC. Did you do this or did you recalibrate them again for ETCC?

You need to change your GT_ETC03.gdb file (located in your ETC03Seasondata folder) and replace Pergusa with another track or take it off the calendar. The RSR people will be releasing Pergusa and Anderstorp soon. Make sure you back up yoru .gdb file before you modify it.

I imported the settings from F1C. Checked my controller rates - all at 50%. Still can't lock the brakes! Any other suggestions?

'The instruction at "0x77f52cd0" referenced memory at "0x00004150". The memory could not be "written".'

I've tried using the hotfix as well but that has not helped. I'm guessing that the only way to fix this is to download the mod again but that's going to cost me a lot so i'm hoping that someone may have some suggestions?
If not, would it please be possible for somebody to burn the mod and the latest patch onto a CD and post it to me? I would cover all your costs of course. Please help I am desperate to try the ETCC after reading such good things about it on this thread and others!
