What is your definiton of "covering"?

CAR Magezine for instance has a monthly column of Maurice Hamilton but these are not very surprising nor very up to date. Sometimes they have good interviews with drivers or other people involved, but certainly not monthly.

concerning the german ones:
i believe Motorsport Aktuell is originally swiss, Kicker is mainly about soccer and Stern isn't even a sports magazine ?

i didn't read any of them for several years though, so i could be very wrong of course

oh, and Sport Bild is a sports magazine, it's not specifically about motor sports...and it's a dumb tabloid like all the Bild stuff...
ok, i didn't read any Bild for ages either, but i doubt it has changed since then :p

With covering I mean publishing race reports and maybe some background articles and news in brief. So I will delete CAR magazine from my list, thanks for the info.

Indeed I forgot to mention French F1 magazines in my list, these I have so far:

L'Auto-Journal
Auto Plus
Auto Hebdo
F1 Magazine
L'Automobile Magazine
L’Equipe Magazine
Sport Auto
Formules Magazine
F1 Racing
L’Argus de L’Automobile
Journal de L’Automobile
Auto Moto

Maybe someone knows if one of these magazines don't cover F1 as described above..

And does someone know more motorcycling magazines in the UK and Germany that covers MotoGP?

Thanks again to all for your great help!

You can remove "L'Argus de l'Automobile" and "Auto Plus" from your list, as the focus of these publications is the new car and used car markets. They may have an article here and there about Motorsport, but I would hardly call that a coverage.

"L'Auto-Journal" and "L'automobile Magazine" do offer race reviews and articles, but they are minimalist in content compared with the more specialized magazines I mentioned in my earlier post. As for the others, I am not familiar enough with them to comment their coverage of Formula 1.

Motorsport Aktuell is the best one in Germany, you should go for that! Auto Motor und Sport has very informative and in depth articles as well, but only a small part of the magazine is dedicated to motorsport, anyhow well worth the read. These are the big picture articles I love. Why? what? When? and what is likely gonna happen out of all this. They also have special issues pre season and seasons review. The first one a definite must.
