More sad news I'm afraid...
Graham Arnold, President of Club Lotus and ex-Sales Director of Lotus, passed away on the morning of 10th November. Graham was taken suddenly ill while at the Classic Car Show
and died later in hospital.

I heard about this early Monday morning.

I hadn't heard he was taken ill at the show.

Very sad.

That's very sad news indeed. Graham was a fascinating character with a wealth of often hilarious anecdotes. I had contact with him as a result of my interest in Lotus and through the BMW Driver's Club and he was committed to defending the interests of enthusiasts in the face of sometimes quite intimidating behaviour by large car companies. Sadly, there are fewer and fewer people like that nowadays :(

This is a shock and very sad news , I knew Graham quite well, first meeting him in 1976 at the first Club Lotus meetings, he had a wealth of stories and despite all the ups and downs always held Colin Chapman in the highest respect, - he was Club Lotus - with more that 12000 members. This is such bad news - our deepest condolences to Margaret and Jamie, - he was a nice man and he will be greatly missed .

Really sad to hear this. He cropped up in many Lotus documentaries and had lots of anecdotal tales to tell - especially to do with the early days of Lotus.
