I got this game just recently. I am now into my 6 th season( with sauber), and I am still always retireing due to electronic problems. I have developed my parts well, and I am testing a lot. my electonic system for example is the 2nd best on the gid. the engine or the drivers I use don´t seem to make a difference in this regard.also my staff (constuctors, engeneers, mechanics) are first rate. I follow the advices of the chief mechanic, who interestingly never adviced me to improve my electonic system( which I did anyway). Could it have something to do with the weight of the car? -like you hardly finish a race if you are let´s say 50 kg´s overweight? -for the AI-teams that doesn´t seem to matter, and why is it electonics always?
I am greatful for any hint.

Hey viceroy, I beleive there was a bug in the original release of the game that meant that your cars would usually retire after the pit stops with "electrical problems". I think there may well be a patch out there that helps this issue.

Hope this helps.

just as an aside, ive got the next version of the game (i think) "grand prix world" or whatever its called.

anyone know if theres a patch to make it run on windows XP? coz mine refuses, even if i go into its properties and tell windows to run it/treat it as a win 95 app (which is what it used to run on without a prob), it just wont go.

BorderReiver, thanks for your advice, I did what you said and it´s working now, well except the commentary that goes on and off at will now, but that´s truly no loss.
you really made my day!
